-> MS> All Tennessee State Parks operate on a statewide linked system on
-> MS> 151.160 MHz.
->
-> Actually, the Tennessee State Parks radio system is not linked. Alth
-> many of the state parks are on a dial up repeater system, like other
-> agencies,
-> they are not linked together.
From personal listening, I think that some of them are linked. I can
receive the Hiwassee State Parks officers full quieting with a stubby
VHF at my location in Chattanooga, and Hiwassee State Park is over 50
miles away. So... I admit that I erred on the statewide part, but I
think some of the repeaters are linked up.
-> Another note, most of the law enforcement arms of the TN State
-> Parks, operate on the local SO channels, 80% of the time.
Can't say that I've ever heard Booker T. Washington or Harrison Bay
State Parks on the Hamilton County SO frequencies. But, then again,
HCSD uses UHF and the parks people use VHF-hi.
