An update:
I probably made a typo in at least one, if not both, of those addresses. I
know for sure that one of them has OLYMPIC (no S) in the address and the
other has olympic with the s, but I'm not sure which is which. So if these
don't work, try taking the S out and see if it makes the difference.
And just now I've seen a commercial for IBM's page, which is:
http://www.atlanta.olympics.org
(Or was that olympics.atlanta.org?)
At any rate, if you use a search engine like Yahoo or Alta Vista, just look
for Olympic without the S and you are bound to get a gazillion hits. I know
our local NBC TV station also has a page so you can look up the athletes from
the San Francisco Bay Area (as of last night, the Bay Area's medal count is
at 9, 8 golds and 1 silver). I would imagine that stations in other cities
which have athletes competing might have pages of their own.
The newspaper reports that we got bronze in both individual and team
three-day eventing. Team dressage is halfway through, as far as I can tell
from reading the box stores, with (no-brainer) Isabell Wirth and Gigolo
leading the way for the German team, and Michelle Gibson and Peron in second,
Robert Dover and Metallic in 6th, with the US team in third (the Netherlands,
with the top rider in 4th place, is third). The third and fourth rounds of
the team dressage take place today.
