Try DigiKey, Mouser, or Hamilton/Avnet. For this small of a
quantity, I'd try DigiKey and Mouser, first.
20ma is typical for an LED. If he puts the LEDs in series (as he
stated above) there is almost NO voltage drop across the resistor.
If you assume 1.5v per LED; then, 6 LEDs would need ÷ 9v to drive
them. The problem is that the current won't divide equally and the
LEDs will not be of uniform brightness.
