A big difference.

First of all, they don't have any reason to wiretap my communications.
Second, I wouldn't be shipped off to Gitmo since I'm a US citizen, Third,
why would they need an interpreter to listen to my conversations?

You have failed to show where anyone's individual freedoms have been
abolished. All you've shown is that you will believe anything you read in
one of your favorite loopy left blogs.
