Yep.  Same problem.  I think it is modem specific since I just switched
computers and modems.  The notebook modem (Infotel> did not have this
problem while the new computer (using my old Digicom Eagle Plus),
appears to be staying "online".
What kind of modem do you have?
I am going to try the communications program that comes with Win95 to
see if I can duplicate the problem.
