ZH>How do you get Qedit to create a page-break when editing a document?
use ASCII 12
ZH>By that I mean such that Qedit physically shows where the page break will
>occur when printing the document like WordPerfect 5.1 shows with "-------"
>at the end of each page AS YOU ARE TYPING.
You will see the ASCII 12 character in your file
ZH>Otherwise Qedit is an excellent editor now I would just like it to be
>printer friendly.
the ASCII 12 will cause a formfeed just like WP5.1 did for you.
Use the number keypad and ALT to enter the character. Refer to
your manual which came with the registered version that you have.
You will be dissapointed if you think any editor will replace a word
processer like WORD PERFECT or WORD or AMIPRO, etc. They are
different beasties and used for entirely different purposes. I
assume you already knew that. I notice your reference to something
that Word Perfect uses....the "-------". Peace.
