It's simply incredible what Jay Grace said to Jeff Oberlee
 > Windows is Fred's territory and, from what I've heard, {COMMO}
 > works great in a DOS window.
 JG> Yes it does, but you can't run a DOS window and something else
 JG> at the same time. I guess its just one of those gliches.
  Well, that depends upon how much memory you have, how you have
your system configured , and how much timesliceing your give your
comms program. :)
  I run my humble little establishment up here under windows 3.1
with 4 meg of ram ans windows set up in the enhanced mode. I have
the pif set up to give it 300 slices in the background and
foreground so I can be doing my mail writing with the OLR while I
have someone on the BBS. The only caviet here is that if they are
downloading something.. I open up the full window for them and give
them 100% of pcu time. :)
  Cheers and have a great day! From the Curmudgeon of MacroNet!
