Wow (no pun intended :-P), didn't realize that much information was out 
there.  Hmm, I just wonder if I really feel like messing with it that 
much - I'm not the type that's afraid to get his hands dirty, but with 
certain things it's just not worth that much to me.

According to the second article, they got official assistance from 
Blizzard's CVS maintainer, so perhaps that indicates Blizzard may be 
heading toward's a Linux version.  They have a universal binary that 
will run on Mac OS X, so I wouldn't think Linux would be too far behind.
