I pretty much always have build-essential on my systems! Just had to add
Subversion (more likely to use CVS or Git these days to access code).

 RC> svn co svn://svn.ozzmosis.com/xmsgapi
 RC> cd xmsgapi/unix/gnu-c/

That'd be what I'm looking for! :)

 RC> cd ../../..
 RC> svn co svn://svn.ozzmosis.com/netmgr
 RC> cd netmgr
 RC> make

Worked this time. :)

Yep, the xmsgapi package made the difference, netmgr compiled and seems to run.

No need, but I now have a binary for the Pi. :)
