| subject: | KTX V.34 modems |
BG>G'day All,
BG>Anybody know what chipset the KTX V.34 modems (as distributed by
BG>Edge) uses? What I really need to know is how one sets it up under
BG>Win95, as there is no KTX brand listed (or do they supply their own
BG>Win95 *.INF file?).
BG>Regards, Bill
If you dig deep into the Win95 registry you would find that most modems
use the same init string.. The only difference is that some modem
setups will allow you to adjust the volume etc.. Try a "Standard 28,800"
to start with.. You will find that it should work ok!
Hope this helps!
Cheers
