Well, I don't want to force ansi, because there are some telnet callers
with slow links, and ansi will slow it down.

Its hard to explain but I was wanting max to auto justify text when using
mecca.  For example, depending on the variable [user] will depend on how
far max justifies the text.. here

            username : [user]               realname : [realname]
                       xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx              xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I want username to occupy no more space than i allocate it and if its too
long, just overwite realname, and I do give them plenty of space so that
wouldn't be an issue, but what max does it will move the realname over
depending on the length of the user's name.
