I think the problem with the lazy susan is that things will rotate TOO
smoothly, and won't stay put. The nice thing about the dobsonian teflon on
formica is that once you push it somewhere, it stays there. That is most
definitely NOT the case with a lazy susan - they just keep on going. And,
plus, they are not as smooth! Guy Brandenburg
