Which in the grand scheme of things are a fraction of the total sales of
the other formats, which are -R, +R and Double Layer, there are other
formats that have dropped by the wayside.

Those with older DVD players cant even read DVD-RW's!

FWIW, I am talking about the players and recorders used for your TV, what
you can buy today can read all if not most, but that hasnt always been the
case.

Making DVD for someone and you arent sure of their players ability, use DVD+R.
