Actually, I *think* that IE 6 will work with 98SE.  I will have to check the
next time I boot my Win machine.

I think the original poster was suggesting that MS should not have restricted
IE 6 (and now 7) to current or too-recent versions of Windows if they were
so concerned with security.  The fact that there are enough older versions
of Windows out there with older versions of IE make the net a much less
safer place for the rest of us.
