ZH> How do you get Qedit to create a page-break when editing a document?

You don't (or at least not without a bunch of work on your part)
;-) Qedit is a "text editor" as opposed to a "word processor"
and as such it is designed to work with "pure text" which it
doesn't format in any way other than allowing you to tell it to
wrap text and have "sticky indents" and a few other
convenienence features. Since it has no settings for printer
support it has no knowledge of things like page length for a
printer etc. If you wish to force a page break to appear in a
document at a specific point you can always insert a "form feed"
character by holding down the "Alt" key and typing "12" on the
numeric keypad which will insert the ASCII code for a form feed
in the document (looks like a small circle on top of a "+" sign.
Qedit also has an extensive macro language available to you and
I expect you could write a macro to start at the top of the file
and walk through it marking every 60 (or whatever) lines witha
demarkation line like you would like to see to show where
"natural page breaks" would occur. Of course you'd probably need
to extend the idea to have the macro clean out old marker lines
and start fresh each time you ran it and since the marker lines
would be in your file you'd need another macro to remove them
before printing the file ;-)
