I really don't remember, but I don't think it's all that much larger than 2.x
was.  You can eliminate things that you won't use (like RIP support, as I
did) to gain space.

Eventually, 2.x -will- be broke, and much of the new stuff coming out is
geared towards 3.x versions, so it's probably worth it to upgrade.  :-)
