Hey Greg....
I found firstbas.exe on the internet, it's in a place called the "qbasic 
club", or something similar sounding, there's also a lot of programs written 
by other people there, very intereseting....
One thing I have noticed, firstbas.exe when used to convert a bas to an exe 
file does not seem to "like" some basic command such as "screen 13" and a few 
others, even though the program runs fine as a ".bas" program.
But, it has opened a few doors for me, now I can convert my bas programs to 
exe files and share them with friends that are not familiar with qbasic....
Also, another thing I like is the using the SHELL command to run DOS commands 
or files, I can make unusual versions of what I would normally do using batch 
files. pretty cool stuff....   :)
