Is it possible to use an editor MM> like OpenOffice to load my temp files? I am sure it is possible, but why would you want to? OpenOffice is large and takes multiple seconds to load, even on a fast machine. It is like using a tank to kill a fly. It might get the job done, but a flyswatter is more suited to the task. In the same manner, a simpler text editor is more suited to editing your messages. I prefer a text editor that has keyboard commands. I am using nano (linux) to edit this message. My wife preferes olxed on her Windows setup as she is comfortable with the keyboard commands. In any case, all you need to do is edit the mm.rc file to specify the editor of your choice. If you were following an earlier thread, you may have seen that you might have problems if directory/file names have spaces or are longer than 8 characters. Just watch out for that, and you shouldn't have any problems. Regards, Stephen ...
