I did! It's one of those stories where the primary focus seems to be on
character development, with a mystery running through it. In fact, if you
try to read it "strictly" as a mystery novel, you may be a little disap-
pointed ... it's quite a stretch into the book before one realizes there's
a mystery at all. However, you have to read right to the end before the
mystery is resolved; I found it very satisfying. Enough so, that, upon my
return from holiday, I intend to find his "The Woman in White" and sink my
molars into that, as well. :)
