I am searching for my aunt Mary Ann who was born 12 June 1934 in the
Town of Day, Marathon Co., WI., to Ella Schroeder and Nick Patrie.
Ella, my grandmother, died shortly after giving birth to Mary Ann.
I have been told by local people in the Stratford, Rozellville and
Marshfield, WI area that Mary Ann was either given up for adoption to a
Marshfield couple or was sent to an orphanage in Sparta, WI.
Mary Ann had one brother, who was fathered by another man, Marvin
John Schroeder, my father who was born 16 Sept 1926.
She also had an aunt, Mabel Schroeder who married a John Thon and an
uncle, Albert Schroeder who married an Elnora Poppy.  Her grandparents
were John and Emma Schroeder who lived just east of Rozellville on Hwy
C.  Both my dad and Mary Ann were born on their grandparents farm.
Before my dad died of cancer he asked my to try and locate Mary Ann to
let her know she did (and does) have a biological family. This also
started my in doing my family research.
Mary Ann would be approximately 61 years old.
Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.  Just let
me know what I need to do to respond to your reply.   Thank you.
