LOL! Another crock of shit. When it snows and the wind blows in Illinois,
snow piles up into large snow drifts too. I've only experienced 27 winters
there, so my experience may not be as extensive as yours. :o)

Before the days of salt, they used furnace ashes. With the advent of salt,
cars driven in winter have a 3 year lifetime and then they're rusted
hulks. Which is a bitch on 'unibody' cars, as they have no frame under
them. Even those with frames usually end up with rusted out frames.

And no self respecting Texan would want to live in a state with a $24
billion deficit. Which means your liberal congress critters are gonna tax
the shit out of you to make it up...meanwhile, Texas sits on a $9 billion
surplus and no new taxes or fewer state provided services. Enjoy that
expensive and oh so wonderful smog filled weather and the great scenery,
if you can find it. :o)
