Rubbish, the Germans and the Japanese were able to rebuild because money
was poured into those countries.  Machinery also was made especially for
them and guess what.  The Germans got the new machinery and the British got
all the old stuff out of Germany.  There was the threat of Communism and
the USA had to fork out the cash to rebuild those countries economies.

Contrary to what many believe, and you being of German stock will know this
I hope, much of Germany's manufacturing and industrial infrastructure was
intact at the end of W.W.II.  Also America, Britain and France had to
occupy Germany and have done for years.  In Japan the American military is
still there in very large numbers.  It would be fair to say that Japan is a
satellite country in the American Empire, similar to Israel and not
dissimilar to the satellite states of the former Soviet Union.

It is not that they rebuilt through great effort on their part, they could
not fail with the amount of aid and trade that was awarded to them.  Do not
underestimate the role America played in setting up the Coal and Steel
Union that would include France, Germany, Italy and the Benelux countries
in the late 1950's.  This would eventually become the European Union within
time, Britain went in at the insistence of the USA and we are in fact the
eyes and ears of the US within the EU.

America got a few pieces of a very large pie, but then the war and Europe
would have gone down the toilet without them.  Think world domination here,
Japan,  Israel, two cheeks of the same arse when you think about it.
Britain and Germany have to do what America tells them such is the power of
the US.

Well they will not be doing that will they when you have given them a cause
to focus on.  Think about Radical Islam for a moment, if it was a problem
before then people with your attitude have magnified it 100 fold.  Bin
Laden for example, it matters not one iota if the man is dead or alive
because his aims will outlive him as will everything he set out to do.  A
monster that you people have created that is not going to go away and this
legacy will go on.  The war in the Gulf and Israel bombarding civilians
will ensure this anyway.  Basically we had better get used to Radical Islam
as it will be with us all our lives.
