There are obviously only a limited number of programmers available who are (1) experienced enough, (2) have the time, and (3) want to bother working on it. That's why a lot of these sorts of projects are one-man shows - or in the case of PD code, you might find someone puts 6-12 months into a program, then shoves it onto someone else to continue the project. Team-work is difficult unless you set goals which everyone can agree to. If you can get a list of 100 people who are capable of working on Msgedsq (or Tobruk, or whatever), you'd be lucky to get 10 people who can be relied upon to work with you at the same pace you're working at... andrew --- Msgedsq/2 3.10* Origin: This one HAS to be original X (3:633/267.1{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 50/99 632/348 998 633/246 252 253 260 267 371 373 634/384 635/503 SEEN-BY: 635/513 544 639/100 120 640/230 690/718 711/401 410 430 807 808 809 SEEN-BY: 711/934 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 633/267 252 371 635/503 50/99 711/808 809 934 |
