The more annoying thing is that it _pretends_ to -- it tells readers that it has ADD/DROP support in the DOOR.ID, but it doesn't actually do anything with the control messages if you send them. I've fixed that in the CVS version (i.e., it still doesn't support ADD/DROP, but now it doesn't pretend to, either). The Blue Wave door for Maximus supports offline config. It's also better than the internal QWK in other respects. But it does have some Y2K issues if not patched/worked around. ...
