So with all the "O-FISHY" stories about Roswell, which were released by
Uncle Sam's rumor mill and reported in the press, which one do _YOU_
believe?  Personally I believe NONE of them!  Just the fact that they
have released so many stories has totally destroyed the last grain of
credibility they might have had on the subject!

Yep, just as the Judas goat leads the sheep to the slaughter, the
unthinking public believes whatever pablum they are fed by the media.
But there are some, myself included, that use the brain that God gave
them, and do NOT automatically believe whatever Uncle Sam and the media
spew out.

Sorry, IMO you're out in left field on this one.  It IS possible for the
military establishment to keep a secret, and if some renigade decides to
spill the beans, the trenchcoat society is perfectly capable of totally
discrediting the person, and I believe this has been done.  Then there's
the well-proven disinformation/misinformation machine, which plants rumors
with just a grain of truth and a pound of manure, calculated to throw
anyone looking for information into the wrong places to look.  This has
been proven to happen as well, in such reputable investigative groups as
MUFON and APRO!

Don't hold your breath, because any REAL official announcement that ET's
and alien craft are real won't come about unless and until a UFO lands or
crashes in some VERY public place, witnessed by hundreds of people and
recorded by news media.  If that ever happens, the Govt. will be FORCED
to admit that they exist, but not until.  And even then they won't tell
ALL they know!

I believe as stated previously, for reasons previously stated.

True!  One of us, (I believe it is myself, you believe it's yourself),
MAY know the truth, but neither of us could convince a jury at this time.
And even then, juries can be - and sometimes are - wrong.  But the public
jury is still out on the matter of UFO's and ET's, and I dount that a
final and accurate verdict will come in any time soon.
 
One final comment:
 
Q: WHY doesn't the Govt. admit their knowledge of UFO's?
 
A: FEAR!  They are scared to death that if word got out that ET's were
visiting us, there would be mass panic!  And yes, there would be some
people who could not handle the information that there are "others,"
especially since the "others" are more technically advanced than we are,
since they have found us and have come "knocking on our door," while we
are still trying to make our first contact by the "simple" experiment of
listening for extraterrestial radio signals.  Who is to say that "they"
use electromagnetic communication?  For all we know, they could use
telepathy or some other form of communication which our science is not yet
aware of.
 
So what say you to my lengthy reply?
