Does anyone know of a good tutorial on SALT? I've read through the
description of the functions and have examined a few (read "not many")
scripts. I've done a tiny amount of top-down programming in Pascal and
C, so I understand the difference between local and global variable and
the like and have a fair understanding of functions. I'm having
difficulty grasping how and when incoming serial data is processed while
a script is running and how one makes proper use of SALT's library of
functions to accomplish this (for example, when to use terminal() versus
some uses of delay_scr() etc.)
Anyway, if there is some sort of SALT tutorial available for the
"terminally bewildered," I'd greatly appreciate a point-out!
Thanks,
Jim
