DL> Well, a pair of socks are two of the same so why not birds?
yes, but he sold them as a " perfect proven pair".
when they came in 4 years ago, the bigger one had developed a sissor
beak that we had to correct, and the smaller one tested positive
for pisiticossis! i really didnt like that! ever try to orally
treat a wildcaght bird for 45 days twice a day? it sucks!
DL> Did bob try to remedy the situation?
called and he began to question the vets ability to sex birds!
says he will only look at the situation if i have them zoogen sexed
and then he wouldnt commit to anything when i said i would and wanted
to know his plan of action when they both tested out to be hens.
said he wouldnt commit to anything! thats the best i got from him.
DL> Could it be he grabbed the wrong bird?
it is not out of the question that he could have grabed wrong,
but even if thats the case he still wouldnt say what he would do to
correct this. then he proceded to say things like how do i know that
you havent changed somthing, or meby one of the birds died.
i have bought only 2 yellow collars! both from him. and still have both
hens!
i know what i said was strong but after trying to deal with him and
having the sucess that i have had i really dont think im wrong in what i
have said. and even if he would offer to replace them with another
proven pair, i dont trust him! and wouldnt consider risking psiticossis
in my aviary! one positive bird from his place is enough thank you.
make more sense now?
see ya c.d.
