Since I have about 400 passthru areas feeding dwonlinks, I always use format
2. And for it to work properly, and not process the passthru areas, one must
have a current area data file. Running silt with the -2a param whenever you
add/remove message areas will create this for you. I then simply execute
sqpackp area.dat
