 ...

JB> snowstorm didn’t impact his opinion. Myers, an American
JB> Meteorological Society certified meteorologist, explained
JB> on CNN’s Dec. 18 “Lou Dobbs Tonight” that the whole idea is
JB> arrogant and mankind was in danger of dying from other
JB> natural events more so than global warming.

 More so doesn't exclude warming.

JB> “You know, to think that we could affect weather all that
JB> much is pretty arrogant,” Myers said. “Mother Nature is so
JB> big, the world is so big, the oceans are so big – I think
JB> we’re going to die from a lack of fresh water or we’re
JB> going to die from ocean acidification before we die from
 JB> global warming, for sure.”

Where is the ocean acidification coming from. Why is there a
 lack of fresh water?

 ...

JB> Marciano also said that, “global warming does not
JB> conclusively cause stronger hurricanes like we’ve seen,”
JB> pointing out that “by the end of this century we might get
 JB> about a 5 percent increase.”

Anytime the qualify it with "conclusively" you know they are
 hedging for a reason.
