I see that Minnesota's senate seat is still up in the air.  I'm no fan
of Al Franken and I think that most of the votes he's received are
votes *against* Norm Coleman, not *for* Al Franken.  Sort of a 
referendum on Mr. Coleman's popularity - just as the people of Missouri
voted a dead man into the senate rather than return John Ashcroft to the
position in 2000.
