subject: got standards if you want

Hi, Paul.

PE> PE> Just got some new standard numbers. PL/1, Pascal, Cobol,
PE> PE> Fortran. BFN. Paul.

PE> FM> [...]

PE> PE> ISO 2014 : Writing of Calendar Dates in All-Numeric Form
PE> PE> ISO 3166 : International Country Codes
PE> PE> ISO 3307 : Representations of Time of the Day
PE> PE> ISO 4217 : Representations of Currencies and Funds

PE> FM> Don't suppose you happen to have these electronically? Or do I have to
PE> FM> get them from Standards Australia?

PE> No, you have to get them from SA. However, you can get my
PE> version of the first one as PDS-0003.TXT I think it is, and the
PE> second one you can probably get from the phone book.

It was mainly 3166 and 4217 I wanted, was just interested in the other 2
from your recent comments about 24-hour time. The phone book doesn't
have the 2- and 3-character country codes (not sure if the 3-character
ones are actually a standard).

Actually I had 3166 at one time, the guts of which are now in my
COUNTRY.DB but it may have been updated since then. I've also put in
those currencies I know for sure, but I'd like the full list (4217)
although it's not currently an urgent requirement.

Regards, FIM.
