Count me as one of those as with a "proper" landline... and no plans to
get rid of it.  I do have a cell phone for when I'm away from home (and
of course there are a number of places, as you say, where it doesn't
work anyway), but it is off when I'm home...  :)   Hubby refuses to even
get a cell phone, so I don't think that we'd ever go to having no
landline...  :)

That could be a way to get new users for the bbs... get them interested,
even hooked, by checking it out at the museum...  :)  Maybe have
something available for them to take home to set up on their own home
computers...?
