I have applied all critical updates including SP-3 and all available Pre 
SP-4 updates.
I could maybe uninstall the critical updates that show in the Add/Remove 
software box. And see what that does. Then again As long as I can use the 
Automatic update program to get the critical updates. I should be happy 
with the way it is. At least it still runs without any major problems....
