Dursban!  BUT read and follow the label.  It's not completely human nor 
animal safe ... I would encircle the outside foundation of your home with the 
stuff.  Keep the doors / windows closed until you notice no odor.  That's 
what a professional pest control firm would likely do.
I've not had ant problems with my greys, just mice in the wild pairs breeding 
aviary downstairs.  Catch one a month ... average.
