Well shoot! Works just like you said it
does! I have an account on NetINS that uses PAP. Tried it and it
worked! Took three tries however. I seem to have had the Dial Other
Internet Providers (DOIP) of the Internet Access Kit (IAK) do that
to me when I used the DOIP (Give you errors like crazy, then just
try it again and all is well). Trouble is I don't use it at all
now.
As I said I launch all my PPP connects from the command line (with
PPPDIAL29 handling my redial and script for me). I do this so that
My BBS front end mailer can drop out call my ISP and FTP FidoNet
mail packets automatically twice per day. So if you know how to do
it with ppp.exe. I'd sure like to know!
But thanks for the Info about DOIP I know of someone that will
benefit from that one!
