MM> Because there's people with high education which are lousy parents,
MM> people with no education who are great parents. And education hasn'
MM> been around forever, it's only a few hundred years old. Obviously,
MM> prior to that, there were plenty of good parents, or we wouldn't be

PS>
PS> Where is your source to back this up? How do you rate a lousy parent
PS> from a good parent? This is a statistical question? - mental abuse,
PS> physical abuse, proverty, what?
Oh, come on, use your head and your eyes, man. People don't change.
People have been parenting for thousands of years. WE've got the most
people we've ever had in the world right now. To speak of things that
are important to you, we've got great inventions and achievements of
this era. We've made airplanes, travelled the world. Obviously,
past generations, past millenia, have been successful parents.
MM> Let me ask you this: what is *your* idea of raising a kid right?
PS>
PS> That is a loaded question. I rather don't believe that I could post
PS> that in one paragraph. So, here's an outline:
PS> 1. Plan ahead before they come into your life: "How am I going to
PS> meet the finacail needs of my children?
Most parents don't do that and never have. How could you possibly say
then that most parents throughout the course of history have been bad
parents? There's no way. It must be that they were good parents
therefore,, because we're here right now.
