subject: MAX/3 (for Linux) ?

BL> Sorry.. I missed the beginning of the thread "Max for Linux".
BL> What was/is the bottom line on that, is there a Linux version ?

GG> Not at this time. (And no, I haven't heard of one in the works
 GG> either.)

BL> Thanks Gary... I was afeared that might be the answer :(
BL> Perhaps SD will make the source available one of these days.

I hear tell that Telegard is going into a Linux beta. As a long time
Max/Bink Sysop, I am about to *give up the ship* and move to a Linux
BBS. Enough blue skying. There are several Fidonet compatible Linux
BBSes available today. For those interested in this topic, there is
a new LINUX_BBS echo available.

I also discuss this topic on a web page -- www.mysteria.com/bbsinfo
