Well I've just spent about 8 hours in total stuffing around with
Gnu Indent and this other indent program which I used to be using.
I decided to switch to gnu indent, because I thought it was more
modern, once I found it on my Hobbes CDROM. However, there was a
bug in it (there was also a bug in the other one). It was a tough
decision trying to decide which one to debug, and then I discovered
that GNU indent didn't strip tabs, so that went straight into the
bin. The bug in the other one ended up not being so difficult to
fix, and the other problem I had been having I ended up getting
around with an existing option!
Anyway, the end result of this, if you want an indent program,
which probably compiles on any ISO conforming C compiler, FREQ
INDENTP.ZIP from 3:711/934. As a bonus, you get an indent.exe
compiled for OS/2!
I am about to go and reconvert the impending MSGED/SQ stuff using
this newly modified one!
BFN. Paul.
