Am I the only original series fan here?
1) TOS
2) TNG
3) Voyager

I'll admit that the acting, the special effects, and the story lines are
all more complex and realistic in the new stuff.  But for its time, the
original Star Trek series was amazing.  And that's the context in which I
view it and appreciate it.  Taking the originality of the concept and
uniqueness of the characters into account, TOS wins hands down in my
opinion.  Example: Few will deny that recent movie productions of Hamlet
have had better acting and effects than the play on stage.  But wouldn't you
still rather see the play?  TOS has that same kind of ambiance.
