A new sort of gate, then. :)

Which using your gate looks like it might do. IIRC, one puts UUCP as
the To: and then puts the actual addy on the first line. Was/is there
any special punctuation before or around the addy?

Oh, I realized that I have email addresses from just about every bbs I
telnet to, as they have their own access to the internet. I haven't
used those, though, as just getting to them means that I have access to
my main email addy from my ISP, through which I telnet... :)
Now, using your gateway, does that work then with ANY zone 1 Fidonet
address? I still have one local BBS that I can access either by dial-up
or by telnet, that has netmail, but as far as I know doesn't offer email
(could be wrong on the latter, as I just haven't tried BBS email for
while now...) Of course the other problem with that* BBS is that he
doesn't have any offline mail door so anything HAS to be done online
there... :(
