 Hi Shane,
	 I had no problems with a T200 phone across line. It's now been
 replaced with a T400 and that's ok as well.  If you are having problems,
 unplug the phone and try data'ering again.  Also try listening during a
 conversation to see if you can hear any "line" noise.
