ac> Hi Paul. The following addition to the structure below allows me to
ac> perform ROT13 coding on the current message's text. I'm not sure why I
ac> couldn't get Msged to do this already, so I modified the current version.
As documented at the end of msged.doc, "<" and
">" will rotate
a message, but I think they only rotate an existing message for
view. Is that what your changes do, or do they enable you to
make a new message rotate (which presumably msged doesn't do?)?
ac> Nice work with version 3.20 - the different key setup should only take a
ac> few months to get used to. ;-) Not sure where Alt+A disappeared to (looks
ac> like you killed it).
The area is the main screen, you can escape out of the message
read and be returned to it. Also, assigning "quit" to Alt-A
will achieve the same result.
ac> BTW, in the internal editor, when I cursor to the end of a paragraph of
ac> text and press Ctrl+Left, the cursor skips back _two_ words rather than
ac> one. This editor is non-conformant!!! I want my money back.
I have checked the behaviour, and whether you are in the middle or
at the beginning of a word, it consistenly takes you back to the
beginning of the previous word. How do you know that is not
correct behaviour? BFN. Paul.
