Hello Bruce, ' tis a nice day today. BC> Speaking of GEOS... BC> It's moved to the "backup" computer, but I have a working GEOS BC> Ensemble 2.01 program that I used to like to play around with BC> before I got the 486. Ensemble was brought out by the same people who did GEOS for the 8-bit Commodore, as the 286 and 386 came out at 16-bits. But if you had been active in 80 to 85 and had a Commodore, you had to have GEOS. I used it for years and even went to Wheels, which is an immense improvement on GEOS, it recognized many more devices, one of the best being the Ramlink. You could keep that one "live" with a small wet cell of 6 v and when you hit the ON switch, it was ON in a wink. But these days are gone like the Dodo. ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
