Thanks for the response.  It did it also with Hyperterm.  I did fix it 
though.  I am using a Magnum 28.8 modem.  Win 95 saw this as a Boca 
modem and I left it as that.  I also set up the FAX after my initial Win 
95 install.  It saw it as a Hayes Accura 288 V.FC I switched off all my 
Boca settings to the Hayes and wala!
