You don't hear as much these days about propane or natural gas fueled cars.

I wonder what the equivalent cost per mile is vs. gasoline?

Then again, I'm still looking for a Cummins 3.9 turbo engine from a early
90's Chevy or GMC delivery van.  I think that would make a great swap into my
1988 K5 Blazer.
