subject: Oddball characters

Hello All!

I notice that when I enter a reply to a message and instruct Maximus to
reply in another area that odd characters show up in the message. The best
example I can give is to import an entire captured message here:

@This is a test. Watch for odd characters in message body.

Notes: These characters _do not_ show up when reading the message in the
Maximus full screen reader. But they are transmitted and can be seen by
(apparently) any other standard reader, such as timEd (which I used to
capture the message to a text file).

Can anyone point to a possible trouble spot that might cause this anomaly?

Best regards,
Marc
