I'd say something like "pileup", but I'm pretty sure that won't be
correct :-)

Are you in the Mt. St. Helens/Puget Sound area? Is 'your' fault
related to the San Andreas fault in Sthn California? In any case, I
guess it's tied up with the Pacific plate hitting the North American
continental plate.
Years ago I travelled in the States. I've been on the west coast, but
only got as far north as Portland, OR. Also only got as as far east as
western Wyoming (Yellowstone N.P.). Got to California, Arizona,
Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho & Oregon - not the most common places for
tourists, but such beautiful scenery and most interesting animals -
eg. moose, bison and chipmunks. Totally different fauna from here
where most of our native furry animals are types of marsupials, not
mammals (eg. kangaroos & wombats).
I'll finish my rambling here and let the discussion Nancy was involved
in continue.
Just a thought: How do I make this msg on-topic! No Idea, but I'm not
sure that any of the folks here are going to complain ;-)
Rob.
