The problem is that people put that kind of stuff on the airwaves not realizing that they are clueless about networking machines. I've heard and seen far too many horror stories regarding this very issue, especially regarding wireless security stuff that offers diddley squat in the way of actual security. They make it harder on themselves and easier for the people who take advantage of them. As far as the machines go everything works as advertised and can be a real plus to a well thought out network. That doesn't include wireless security cameras though. That really boggles the imagination as to why anyone would want that. Same with keyboards, mice, etc. Big mistake methinks ... unless of course it doesn't matter about access which sometimes it doesn't. Depends on the situation I suppose and what is being accessed and why. For some things easy and open access is a desirable quality.
