Now, guys!  Think about it.  We take the training because we care about
the boys. We are told to take it if we are to do it right. They give you
the patch.  We become patch collectors because they are cool.  But who
would take a day or wekend out of their life (work, kids, etc...) and
pat the buck to attend a training session just for a $3.00 patch.
I am not that sadistic!
Now I can say this because I collect patches
from GSUSA and BSUSA - those I have earned and been to and those I swap
with friends - earned on a jacket, swaps on a quilt.
But again I say, who is that sadisitic!!!!
I guess I could find a few examples to back up your theory - but most
training takes some hands-on experience - so they must have learned
something!!!!!
