I am using Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0.
  Every time I start the program, I get two popup screens.  The first is
  a "convert from" screen.  The second then tells me that it cannot load
  the template.
  Clearly, it is attempting to open some document but I cannot figure
  out what document it is trying to open (which probably does not
  exist).
  Can anyone tell me how to control this start up action?
  Once I pass by these two screens / error messages -- everything works
  just fine.
